Emma Watson made her big-screen debut in 2001's box-office smash Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, bringing to life Hermione Granger, friend to the famous protagonist Harry Potter of J.K. Rowling's children's novel. Born in Paris, where she lived for the first five years of her life, Watson acted only in school plays before breaking into Hollywood with this film, but her performance skills had been honed through dancing, singing, and poetry recitals, the latter of which she had already received recognition for by the age of seven. In the years following that blockbuster, she reprised her role alongside co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint for the subsequent beloved Harry Potter films. Biography

Actress Elizabeth Banks was born Elizabeth Mitchell in Pittsfield, a small city in the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts near the New York border, on February 10, 1974. She describes herself as having been seen as a "goody two-shoes" in her youth who was nominated to be the local Harvest Queen.

Banks left home to attend college at the University of Pennsylvania, from which she graduated Magna cum Laude, and went on to attend the Advanced Training Program at the prestigious American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, from which she graduated in 1998. She then moved to New York and worked in the theater as well as obtaining her first roles on-screen, small parts in movies and guest-star roles on television series. Seeking more screen work, Banks moved to Los Angeles and the supporting roles soon came, and required that she change her name to avoid confusion with another actress named Elizabeth Mitchell who had already established herself. Her first signal success came in her delightful, brief performance in Spider-Man (2002), for which she is best known despite subsequent leading roles, as "Betty Brant", the secretary of the cantankerous newspaper tycoon. (Banks has reprised the role in the Spider-Man series.)

Banks followed up her performance in Spider-Man with small roles in other movies released that year, Swept Away (2002) and Steven Spielberg's Catch Me If You Can (2002), in which she plays a bank clerk who assists the young Frank Abagnale with vital information about bank checking policies. More recognition came with Seabiscuit (2003), in which Banks charmed audiences playing the wife of Seabiscuit's owner "Charles Howard", and Banks was able to broker these successes into leading roles, in Michael Showalter's The Baxter (2005) and James Gunn's Slither (2006).

The winsome, beautiful Banks projects an exceptionally-charming screen presence that has drawn comparisons to Audrey Hepburn. Though her off-screen vocabulary is at times sprinkled with Valley-speak, her performances demonstrate solid acting skill and a keen intelligence. Banks and her boyfriend since college days, Max Handelman, married in 2003.

Cynthia Ann Crawford was one of four children born to John and Jennifer Crawford in DeKalb, Illinois. Her brother, Jeffrey, died of leukemia soon after Christmas when she was ten. Her parents later divorced when she was sixteen. She graduated first in her class from high school and went on to study chemical engineering at Northwestern University. She reportedly quit a $4 an hour job shucking corn and left college in order to take a chance on a part-time modeling job in Chicago.

Her risk paid off. Crawford became one of the first major "supermodels" and has appeared on over 400 magazine covers. Her first job was as a spokesperson for Pepsi. She chose not to restrict her career to modeling and became the host of "House of Style" on MTV. She has produced her own workout videos, CINDY CRAWFORD/SHAPE YOUR BODY and THE NEXT CHALLENGE. She is also the author of a book, CINDY CRAWFORD'S BASIC FACE.

Crawford donates both her time and energy to breast and ovarian cancer research and the Leukemia Society of American in memory of her brother. Half of the money from her calendar sales goes to organizations for leukemia research.

Carmen Electra grew up near Cincinnati, Ohio, in the town of White Oak and got her first boost when a scout for Prince spotted her fronting for a rap group in Los Angeles. She released a self-titled album for Prince's Paisley Park label in 1992. She then toured Europe as Prince's opening act on his 1992 Diamonds and Pearls Tour.

Carmen later returned to work for Prince at his Los Angeles nightclub, "Glam Slam". She performed there every weekend with the Erotic City dancers, led by choreographer and director, Jamie King.
